Although we never met Matea, my bf and I had an amazing time staying at her apartment. Her grandparents and brother took care of all of our needs and more. They welcomed us with lunch, helped us rent a car and showed us where to find beautiful, quiet beaches. The apartment was very clean, spacious with an upstairs patio and view. There are many good local restaurants and wineries nearby. We will miss them and their tiny cats. Out of all the places we've stayed in our 3 months of traveling, Matea's apartment is by far the best! I highly recommend it and would come again. Vis Island is gorgeous!Lissa Bollinger
Emanuela Laurini
We spent 6 days in Matea's lovely apartment. The place is very quiet, between mountain, olive trees and vineyards. It's only 10 mins by car from Komisa. The view over the sea and the other islands from the terrace is stunning! The apartment is very well equipped, with all the things you need to cook in the kitchen, and also a large fire place behind the house to grill the meat/fish, etc. Matea welcomed us with local wine and liquor, and gave us plenty advises and recommandations to visit the island. She was very helpfull. Her grand-parents were also very very nice, and gave us some fruits from the garden! We really felt like home. And couldn't think a better place to stay in Vis. We really hope to come back again :-)Chahine Benabadji
We stayed at this lovely apartment for 9 days and had a really great time. Matea and her grandpa Peter and grandma Rajna welcomed us as we were part of their family. When we came they welcomed us with local fish specialty lunch which was a real surprise. The apartment and the whole house is very nice and comfortable, even better than on the pictures. Also it is very well equipped with appliances (even elctric grill). There is also a shared laundry room and fireplace with big kitchen. The newly renovated stone house is perfectly locates between two main settlements Komiža and Vis in peacefull quiet natural ambient but close to all settlements and beaches by car or scooter. Matea and her family informed us about everything we should see or visit on the island and gave us personal recommendations for round trips. They were very warm, more then helpfull and made us feel just like at home. We warmly recommend this sweet family and their beautiful house. Thank you Matea, Petar and Rajna for beautifull summer; we will surely come back again :)Momir Pavletić
I was in Matea's apartment along with two other friends. Matea is very kind. We found a bottle of wine of the island of Vis as a welcome . The house is very nice, as you see in the photos. The apartment is located 6km from Komiza. The location is great, because central to the most beautiful beaches. Near there are no supermarket, then you have to arrange before.Zelda Marino
100 % empfehlenswert!Sarah Schiller
